JacksonBlazer writes, " On Saturday July 21, 2008 Faith Temple Word of Faith Ministries held its First Annual Car Show. Inspired by Pastor Walker’s son Antonio Mondtez Walker, the show featured approximately 25 cars with Tony Scott winning 1st place with his 1971 Cutlass Oldsmobile.

JacksonBlazer writes, "Hi Everybody! Sorry I missed last month’s deadline. We attended our first show May 7th at Depot Town in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It was a nice show in the park down by the Huron River. This was the 29th year for this show called the Ypsi Area Show and Shine. It is always held the first Sunday in May."

| Jackson County Prenatal Task Force Receives Sigmund Foundation Support |

JacksonBlazer writes, "The Jackson County Prenatal Task Force has received a $10,000 grant from the Bill and Vi Sigmund Foundation, to support programs to reduce infant mortality in Jackson County. An important new program this year, House to House, is supported in part by the Sigmund Foundation grant. House to House will train ten low-income women as peer educators, to lead home-based learning sessions that empower women to maintain a healthy lifestyle and increase access to healthcare services."
