SALESMEN AND SOLDIERS
writes, "It is true indeed that salvation is bestowed by grace and received through faith — entirely apart from works, religious or otherwise. But it is equally true that it costs to embrace the truth and costs even more to stand for it, rather than selling out. This is why Proverbs 23:23 exhorts us to “buy the truth and sell it not”."

Rev. Pastor Pierce
writes, "Rev. Billy Pierce Pastor of United Peoples Community Church

Question: Is this the first church you’ve pastored?
Answer: “Yes, this is the first church I’ve pastored. I was called here in December 2005. So, I’m very new in the ministry.”
Question: What experience did you have as a preacher prior to becoming pastor?
Answer: “I had the great privilege of serving under Rev. A.P. Williams at Second Baptist for 13 years as an Associate Minister and as his Assistant Pastor for a while.”

The Blessing of the Tithe
writes, "“Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10 AMP)."

Imitators of God
writes, " “Therefore be imitators of God (copy Him and follow His example), as well-beloved children (imitate their father). And walk in love…” (Ephesians 5:1-2a AMP.) When people look at you, do they see your family resemblance? Perhaps in the natural, you have characteristics of your father or mother; maybe you have their eyes, or mouth or mannerisms. But we should also have the characteristics of our heavenly Father."

WHO’S TO BLAME?
writes, "This writer was a bit irked, recently, to read the following paragraph in one of our leading Chicago newspapers: “Professional thieves and joyride-happy teen-agers are not to blame for most auto thefts. It’s true that they are the ones who do the stealing — but the careless motorist must bear the blame... When not in use, cars should be locked.” "

Purified
writes, "“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness” (I John 1:9 KJV). What comes to your mind when you think of the word “pure”? You might think of a young, innocent child or fresh, fallen snow. It’s interesting that most people don’t immediately think of themselves as pure even though that’s exactly how God sees us once we receive His forgiveness.
"

All Things Are Possible
writes, "What is impossible with men is possible with God” (Luke 18:27)

Is there a situation in your life today that seems impossible? As a child of the Most High God, you are not limited by what you see. You are not limited by your circumstances, the economy, or what others say because with God all things are possible! It doesn’t matter how it may look in the natural, when you see things through your eyes of faith, you will see new possibilities.
